“I think God doesn’t love me.”;
“God doesn’t answer my prayers,”;
“Why is he listens to others, but never listen when I cry for His help?”;
“Maybe having the faith is not for me ….”.
The above sentences seem familiar to you? You or someone you know has thought the same way? Maybe you still have mixed feelings with regard to God and the Faith if this is the case; please read on …
We talked in the past about God not being a donor, but a rewarded of those who live by faith.
One of the most important principles that should keep in mind is that faith does not fade with time. Many of the promises of God are tested over time and this is exactly where many fail.
Do you want to know if you have faith with quality?
Note if you have the patience to wait for the answer as it clings to the promise of God. Note if you have the strength to continue fighting, continue to insist, to continue knocking on the door, even when things do not seem to be improving. Note that you persevere to the point of starting from scratch, even if you have to travel the same path over again.
If you can do everything that was said, is because you really believe – and your faith will not disappoint you. The Bible says “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and love of showing to his name, gave and still give to the saints.” Hebrews 6:10
Maybe you have forgotten some of the attitudes of faith that you took at the beginning of your journey as a Christian, but I assure you: God has not forgotten – because He is God!
In addition to not keep the faith, some even became settled, complacent and lazy! They spend long hours praying for a job, but do not have the courage to go looking. They want to get married, but do not create opportunities to meet someone.
They want different results, but still do the same things over and over, because they are afraid to leave there comfort zone and try something new. And then have the audacity to say that God does nothing for them. Why He should do if they themselves do not do it for themselves?
If you are on the verge of giving up, at least have the honesty to acknowledge that you have been negative, fearful and full of doubt, that your faith has no quality and that you haven’t done everything you can! It has nothing to do with God or his love.
It is you who do not have listened when He says: “Seek and you shall find, knock and it will open for you ….” Mt 7.7
